Join Us for WNOVA Farm Day!

Thanks to your membership with Wholesome NOVA, we invite you and your family to support our Amish farmer, Elmer, at our free community Farm Day event! During Farm Day, Elmer opens his doors for a massive potluck lunch and a full tour of his family’s farm and operations.

Event Schedule:

• 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM (Farm Tour): Walk the fields, see the milking operations, and meet the entire herd of cows, goats, and chickens.

• 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM (Community Potluck): Gather together to share a meal and sample a wide variety of farm-fresh products.

• 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM (Wrap Up): Hang out, enjoy the sun, and head home.

The Potluck Lunch:

• What We Provide: The farm typically prepares the main meat dishes (like chicken and hot dogs) and lays out a delightful spread of cheeses, dried meats, meat sticks, dairy samples (chocolate milk, egg nog, kefir, yogurt smoothies), kombuchas, water kefirs, beet kvass, and crystal-clear well water on tap.

• What You Bring: Please bring a generous dish to share with the crowd! We recommend doubling, tripling, or even quadrupling your recipe. Side dishes, starters, main courses, salads, fruits, bread, and desserts are all highly encouraged.

• Seating: Bring your own folding lawn chairs or picnic blankets for outdoor seating. (Many of us just sit on our coolers!)

A Note on Amish Culture: This is a wholesome community event hosted by a conservative Amish family. We ask all attendees to respect their culture in dress and expression. Please note that there will be no alcohol and no music permitted at this event.
